Welcome
Ghandruk is a Gurung village of stone houses and slate roofs, a day's walk into the Annapurna Conservation Area. Our lodge sits right in the heart of it, strung with colourful prayer flags and facing Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and the fishtail peak of Machhapuchhre.
Trekkers heading to Annapurna Base Camp and Poon Hill have rested here for years. We keep it simple: a warm bed, a hot meal, a kind welcome and the best sunrise seat in the village.

From Our Kitchen
Rice, lentils, seasonal vegetables and pickle, refilled until you are properly full. It is the meal that carries trekkers up these hills, and we cook it the way Ghandruk families always have.
We also do noodle soups, fried rice, eggs and toast, garlic soup for the altitude, and pot after pot of hot tea. Clear mornings, we serve on the roof terrace with the whole range in front of you.
